To introduce the place where we come from, we made a Sway and a ppt presentation transformed into video!
Journey 1...
We started the first journey by making an English Language Passport, we did it in Canva and students gave some basic information about themselves.
Our next task was to write on a piece of paper what we are thankful for. During our lesson, we talked about important things in life and all the students agreed that they are thankful tu have their family and friends.
Journey 2...
Here is a mini poster about Safer Internet Day
The second journey started with making a boarding pass for our journey through the project and The Safer Internet Day. In their English lessons and also in ICT students learned a lot about how to behave and what to be careful about when using internet!

The journey continued with Valentine's Day celebration!
This wasn't a typical Valentine's, it was about a love between friends, so the task was to make a friendship recipe...

Journey 3....
The third journey started with International Women's Day . All the student agreed it was the most interesting part of the project!
We chose a famous Croatian composer Dora Pejačević and a writer Vesna Parun.
Student did research about them and decorated a pinboard with posters and drawings about them. They also added some quotes about women!
Each teacher had to choose two famous women from their own country and one from the world.
As a world famous woman we chose Coco Chanel. She inspired us to make our own perfumes so we had a workshop where we mixed different scents .

Journey 4...
The last journey was related to International Day of Monuments and Sites.
Each teacher had to choose two monuments or sites from our country and one from the world.
Old Town Kaptol
This was an excellent task for us because we one beautiful site is in our village and the other one in nearby.
The Old Town -Kaptol is situated in the centre of our village. It is a fortress, an archaeological site, a big old beauty!
We wanted to show others the whole fortress so we asked our former history teacher who is also a local person and a Master of History, Kristina Rupert to lead us through it. We asked her a few questions and enjoyed the tour.
Ružica -Town
The next site we chose was also an old town called Ružica. It is situated not far from us, near the town of Orahovica.
There are a few legends about this old town so the students picked one a made an e-book about it.
Uluru - Ayers Rock
Not long ago, in our English lessons we learned about Australia. Then we mentioned this strange rock in the middle of a vast space.
For the project, we did some more research, read text and watched videos about . Dolores decided to make a Canva poster .

A game...test your Geography knowledge
By checking others work on this task we decided to make a game about a few monuments and sites all around the world.
